Table Tennis Scotland, previously the Scottish Table Tennis Association (STTA), was established in 1935. Our mission is to: "to foster and promote table tennis to attract more players, achieve higher standards and improve the profile of the sport". To meet these objectives, we work to a rolling four year development plan.
We provide tournaments, training and coaching, and work closely with associate organisations across Scotland to promote uptake and technical excellence. We also administer the Scottish Table Tennis Rankings and National Team, and provide accreditation for coaches and umpires. We are particularly focused on uptake and participation, and providing opportunities for young people to enjoy table tennis.
Table Tennis Scotland is a company limited by guarantee incorporated in Scotland (under company number SC265151) and having its registered office at Caledonia House, South Gyle, EH12 9DQ. Affiliation fees make up the balance of our funding, with support from SportsScotland and the Lottery Foundation. Equipment and clothing for the Scottish National Table Tennis Team are provided by Tees Sport.
Table Tennis Scotland is governed by a board of three elected officials and five executive directors.
